Soil mixes for seeds.

Hey, does anyone have a go to soil mix for seeds?

Any potting soil with good drainage should work. I've seen people successfully use miracle gro potting soil mixed with a bit of extra sand. If you have access to local soil, I know some people who prefer to use that. Mangoes will typically love any well draining loamy soil with a PH of 5.5 to 7.5. For sprouting seeds, I like to place several seeds in a lage pot (or tray) just barely under the soil surface and cover with leaves (mango leaves or oak leaves work, too) then place the pot in an area with shade and dappled sunlight. This replicates the conditions a seed would naturally find itself in after it falls to the ground under the parent tree or when squirreled away someplace hidden by wildlife. After the seeds sprout, I separate the seedlings and plant each in a separate pot.
